There is no AC, but we knew that going in. I would not book here again if coming with my young children (5 and younger) but for just the two of us it was wonderful. Si Senor Garden is just down the hill. Probably the best food we ate our entire trip- we ate there twice. You can hear Lola, their parrot, from our room. We slept on the couches in front of the giant open window every night. The sounds, the breeze, the boat shows. It was fantastic.

The view is amazing! The rooms are clean. It’s an older hotel. The pool has a crack in the foundation and is not working at all. I got locked out of my room late one afternoon (door knob broke) and had to stay in another room overnight with only the clothes on my back. This was during hurricane Simon and I understood having a locksmith was going to take time. I told hotel people the next day that I had an important meeting and had documents inside my room I would need. The next morning there was still no update on when a locksmith or hotel maintenance worker would be able to get me into my room. The hotel employee begrudgingly once again tried to get me in the room. Unsuccessful, I finally tried using a butter knife and managed to gain entry. I left the hotel later that day and went to a different hotel. I was disappointed with the empathy of the hotel staff and also the posting indicated that both the pool and restaurant were open (restaurant permanently closed).

Very clean room. Staff was very knowledgeable about the area and very nice. There is no AC but I had a studio suite with kitchen that had 9 feet of floor to ceiling all glass French doors that overlooked the beach and ocean. I could watch the fireworks every night.

The staff are very kind and are very attentive and I feel very safe. There has a solo, single female traveler. I will continue staying at this location because I don’t like the big fancy commercial resorts right on the water when it’s just a couple minutes walk

The hotel was nice, the room was clean. The view from the room was magnificent and breath taken. The was one issue and tgst was that there was no air conditioning available and it was so hot. Staff was great they even got us a fan but tgere was almost nothing we could do as it was so uncomfortable.

Great stay in Puerto vallarta

Completely awesome, second time staying there and didn't disappoint. The people, the views , the restaurant staff, excellent. No A/C no problem opened the sliding doors and let the outside in. Cool breeze coming from the ocean. Low water pressure in the shower but managable.
