"Glencruitten house is one of those special places.
Immaculately presented accommodation, helpful staff and lovely food. The grounds are breathtaking, and the quirkiness of the woods, friendly chickens, peacocks and alpacas make this a place I will re-visit."
"Our twin room was quite small, but, clean and adequate. The hotel is centrally located, everything is within walking distance. The patio overlooks the harbour and is lovely to watch the sunsetting. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I will certainly return. "
"It was a very last minute booking and straight forward. The hotel is old but can't complain. The lady is very nice and friendly. We stay in the top floor, good view for a beautiful sunset."

"The bar check in was easy and convenient! The property was clean and walkable to anything in town. It is right next to the train and the ferry station. The highlight was the staff! They were so kind and fun and made my time enjoyable! I would go back "
"We love this day! The hotel was so cute and very convenient to walk around and explore the city. The parking was great and very easy to navigate. The bar was fantastic and would highly recommend people go there for a drink! Absolutely loved it.

"Small boutique hotel, convenient location. Close to restaurants.
Staff were excellent. Breakfast was beautifully served with hot to order foods. Coffee and tea were brought to the table by staff.
Rooms were small but well appointed and clean."
"In its heyday it was probably a lovely hotel but its tired. We were in a ground floor room (which is actually partially subterrainan) musty smell, mold on wall, peeling paint. This is not to say rhey haven't made upgrades. Bathroom fixtures are new, beds are new and comfortable, lighting is good, breakfast was abundant and staff was very kind."
"Dont be put off by the 1970s front of this hotel it is fantastic, location is everything for this hotel.
on arrival we were checked in without any issues, found our room although on the small side it was was we booked, superking bed was clean the room in general was spotless (28) and we had a seaview. Bathroom was clean, all in all a great hotel.
Only problem we had was our window wouldn't open and parking was a bit of an issue."
