"Resort, room and staff is excellent. Beach itself and pristine and well maintained. But food is really something going to prevent me from returning and recommending to anyone. "
Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort & Aquagames - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel with beautiful territory and wonderful beach! The only busy place was the pool, the rest of hotel is so well managed and organized, that you don’t see crowds of tourists. "
Majestic Mirage Punta Cana, All Suite Resort - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"The suite was beautiful and well stocked. The house keepers always did a thorough job with cleaning. Our butler, Omar, was extremely helpful and pleasant. The workers were friendly and the resort was nicely maintained. It was quiet, which is what we were looking for. The negatives: I got severe food poisoning the last 2 days of our trip. I am not sure if that was a cleanliness issue, a food issue, etc. It definitely was a giant issue. Other smaller issues: we are early risers, and it seemed impossible to get a cup of coffee if we didn't make it in our room. The coffee shop didnt open until late morning and we knew of 3 machines throughout the resort but many of the days, at least one of them was out of service! A small thing, but still. Finally, the lunch buffet seemed very limited. Same few selections every day. Dinners were varied and food was good. The bartenders were friendly. Check in was easy. Overall, we were pleased. I am not sure if the food poisoning was a fluke."
Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort - All Inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"I was not able to stay at this property because of multiple canceled flights. As this was not their fault their customer service and lack of communication was terrible! I tried calling and emailing about a late check in the next day. Got no response on the phone or via email. Our flight the next day got canceled too. I tried calling and emailing again with no response again. After many calls and emails to the resort all day I finally got a generic email back from them which was no help. I will never step foot on this property and am in awe on how bad their Customer service is. Although the canceled flights were not their fault… they could have at least picked up the phone so that I could know if this place was even real…."
"This property was beautiful, we had a garden view room but they upgraded us to pool view, which also had a 180° view of the ocean. The rooms are huge and well air conditioned.
Service was incredible, I have never stayed at a resort that had both poolside and beach service. We didn't have to get up at all!
The buffet was mediocre, even for DR. Very small, not too many options, and the food wasn't great. The a la carte were ok, but you are only allowed 2 per stay. The entertainment was fun, the adults only side doesn't have much going on late, and we were told we couldn't access the family side of the resort (even though the site mentioned you could), that would have been an extra $560 for a 5 night trip. Not willing to pay that.
Expedia also mentioned a $500 resort credit - but it's not actually a credit and just available to use for a 15% or so discount on extra amenities. So do not book this resort because of that!
All in all a great relaxing trip. If you're going to party or people watch this resort is not for you, it was very quiet, which for us was a plus! "
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana an All-Inclusive Resort
8/10 Good
"It was a great resort for kids of all ages, for teenagers on March break, for couples with young kids, for grandparents with grandkids. It’s a very large resort, but the shuttle service is able to minimize the hardship of going from the beach to the lobby for example."
