Beautiful place to stay with amazing staff

The staff at Lakeview colonial motel were so helpful. They were able to organise an early check in for us which was so useful after a sleepless night beforehand! The room was clean and had everything we needed including free parking. The view of the lake was stunning and queenstown centre was a short bus or 20 minute walk away. The shower temperature was difficult to control (it was either too hot or too cold) but this was a minor problem. We would definitely stay here again as the view was so beautiful and the staff went the extra mile for us.

The location is great and the views are excellent BUT this location needs to tell people that there is no elevator. Carrying 2 50lb bags up five floors was not the high point of our trip. Also, internet was interrupted several times a day. We had a clean and comfortable bed but our room was small. Had to put one bag one the kitchen counter and the other across the end table as there was not enough room on the floor.

The hotel looked ok from the outside, but the room was great and the location is excellent. I loved the view of the lake from the room. I would highly recommend staying here.

On a very commutable distance to town and clean bathrooms & rooms with fresh linen.. the reception desk girl was also very welcoming as she offered a hot tea on arrival as a welcome tea also ask for handling baggages in-spite of having a construction on site they’ve managed very well. Thankyou for the stay.

Overall pretty good

Friendly staff. Good location. Beautiful view, butveiw was hampered by all the scaffolding. Parking would normally be great, but currently the painters are taking up the car parks. I would recommend this property for couples or business people.

Great views! Be ready to haul your bags upstairs if your on second or third level. Room was nice and newly remodeled but the air conditioner didn’t work. It was hot so we opened the windows and listened to the traffic noise all night
