Pros: Clean room, friendly staff, beautiful views, close to everything annd easy check in/out process with iPad. Cons: The room was quite small, okay for 1 person but very tight for 2 people. The bathroom was really cold and the window could not open for ventilation.

I really liked staying here and I would absolutely recommend people to stay here. It was very quiet even in the rooms and within the pods they have this nice curtain to provide ultimate privacy that u can pull down. They have outlets within the pods and provided me another blanket as I run cold. In terms of beach access, there isn’t one nearby so can’t really say yay for that, but everywhere in the town is walkabale and this spot is very well positioned. They provided me with a parking spot in the parkade (I had to pay 30 nzd/ 24 hours but had a rental car so didn’t want to risk other spots, plus I thought that was a really good deal considering). The staff were super nice and incredibly helpful with recommendations. Kitchen area was great! Had all the instruments and appliances!!! Even had a great fridge space for everyone to put their fridge items (even had baskets to separate). All in all a great stop!!!

I stayed here for a week. The hostel is always busy. The staff are friendly and informative. However, the kitchen is too small to accommodate all people. The hair dryer is not available 2 days during my stay.

Great location and stay

Great experience start to finish. Warm welcome from reception, the pod beds are ideal for privacy and provide a light and fan which is great. Kitchen was being moved to upstairs which will make it ideal with the social/dining area, that would be my only issue as it was then. But location perfect, car park right next door for about £3 hour 8-6pm
