Wonderful staff made up for downsides

First of all i have to say that the staff were amazing and the room itself was all good as well. Unfortunately, that is where the good points finish - apartments were on a street with over a 35° gradient so most definitely not for the disabled - access to apartment through the garage - building work on 3 sides starting at 7am (even at the weekend)

The Glebe apartments are great - very walkable to downtown Queenstown, hiking, tennis, and other activities in the area. The unit we stayed in was also very good - had everything we needed for our stay, including kitchen supplies for cooking breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The beds were comfortable and the whole unit was a great place to relax and unwind. Would stay here again!

The town center is a 5-10 min walk. The views from some of the apartments are amazing; especially on a clear day. The staff was super friendly. The bus stop is very close by.

Best walking distance to town

Everything is just perfect ! Great location, great hospitality, sparkling clean and very spacious space! Totally worth the money. No chaos on finding parking in the town. Just walk down the street and not noisy at all.

Quiet and spacious near town

Some units have views over the CBD and the lake. Kitchen is well kitted out including an espresso coffee system but no oven. Spacious living room & bedroom; 2 tv's & a stereo; laundry in suite and good hot water.

There was construction going on at the back of the property right by our windows. Which was not told to us prior to booking or even when checking in. No air conditioning, which isn’t good in the summer heat. Also they promised a small refund and didn’t give us a refund in USD even though that’s how we paid. So they didn’t give us a what they promised for the inconvenience.

We arrived at the Glebe apartment late. Even though the reception was already closed, they shared detailed instruction how to get into the room, and provided physical supports once we called in a timely manner. Good kitchen facilities and well equipped. Close to town. Downside - windows and glass patio doors had no screens so couldn't keep open at night for ventilation or else bugs/flys would come in. Result was very stuffy apartment. Dryer didn't work well so had to use 3 cycles to dry clothes.

OK, a bit expensive to book at the last minute. But at least it's within walking distance of the main city areas. Not a big walk up the hill. Parking was OK. There was a bit of construction scaffolding etc during the stay, but no construction active during the holiday season between Xmas and NY. The lift was not working, so lucky not too many flights of stairs. Good clean apartment. Hassle free stay.
