"Excellent location for spotting a rich variety of birds and a great view of arenal volcano from our balcony. Very friendly and accommodating restaurant staff, especially David, Howard and Alexa. Nice room, better than I was expecting, albeit on the small side for a family of 4. If you’re looking for wildlife on your doorstep and a great view of the volcano, it a great pick. We even had a lovely hot but comfortable large jacuzzi for a rainy day. The on-site cafe was poor for vegan options, but the main restaurant made every effort to accommodate our needs"

"Really great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful (particularly Carlos in the restaurants and Tatiana at the pool bar). Facilities were also great. The only negative is that one of the restaurants was not available after 6:00 p.m. (but you could order of the menu at the remaining restaurant in the evening). Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of fresh fruit and other breakfast dishes."
