"This hotel is a gem !, The owner, Monica was so gracious she paid attention to detail , we felt welcome the minute we met her. The hotel was incredibly clean. We had the best night sleep on the most comfortable bed. The next morning woke up to a lovely breakfast. We definitely would stay there again."

"The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The house is kept very clean, and it's so welcoming. There is space for you to keep your food in the kitchen, as well as coffee in the morning. The rooms have a nice bathroom, and mine had a lovely porch to have breakfast on. You are also welcome to use the other spaces in the house and backyard. All in all, a great visit. We will return."

"We just loved our stay at Chalet Ficalho! The building, grounds and decor all radiated old-world charm. The walled property nestled in a neighborhood felt like a private sanctuary. The staff are attentive, professional and accommodating. Everything here is just so pleasant, from the delightful breakfast on the patio to the private outdoor pool. Private parking is a bonus!"

"An absolutely stunning hotel with an authentic boutique Portuguese feel, in the perfect location, right by the beach. The restaurant had beautiful views of the beach and food was superb. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. We’ll definitely be back!"
