"Overall clean and exactly as expected. The pod was cold even with the heater on and there was extreme wind on the night we stayed that was extremely loud. The communal space is nice, but the washrooms were under stocked in terms of paper towel and toilet paper."

"Sauna and hot tub were great. Room was basic but very comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant had very good food! If we are fortunate enough to visit Iceland again we will definitely be staying here!"

"The hotel is new and beautiful. Ample parking outside and across the street from some shops, including grocery store. Our room (room 210) was very spacious and the bathroom was big with a huge tub. The breakfast spread was good with cereals, eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, pastries, etc. Definitely enough to fill you up in the morning. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious (steak meal). We picked this spot to be closer to the attractions in the south/south east and to hopefully have a better chance of clear, dark skies to see the northern lights. Following the aurora app we drove about 10 minutes away and were able to capture the northern lights. This was such a nice hotel and great area to be in. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m back. "

"The advertising was misleading as we spent extra so we could have a hot tub, it was cold and dirty. There is no one on site so I emailed to see if they could fix it but no one replied. The rooms were fine and clean and the location was remote and pretty. Breakfast was ok, but only a couple hot items that were almost cold."

"Due to the storm that hit the eveing of our stay there was a bit of water being pushed into the cabin. The host provided a few towels which sorted everything. Great little place for our roadtrip. Host was easy to communicate with."

"The cottage is a very nice accommodation with everything one needs. It is nicely situated in a quiet area and still close to major south coast attractions. Highly recommended"
