There's a lot I liked about my experience staying at the Naiharn Beach Resort. I'll do my best to highlight the good and the unexpected.
First, the rooms are setup more like duplex houses as opposed to a traditional hotel. There are roughly two units in each building. I liked this setup as it felt like a home more than a hotel. The rooms are comfortable - common to Thailand, two beds are pushed together to make a double. I didn't have the problem another guest had with the bed dividing, that said I was traveling solo. The room has a nice small fridge and all accommodations you'd need.
The staff is absolutely lovely. I checked in late, after check-in hours due to flight issues, but the bar was able to contact someone to open my room. The woman who came was wonderfully friendly.
There was an issue during my stay involving a power outage caused by the construction next door. All I can say is that whatever inconvenience I had experienced was offset by the hospitality shown by management. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and happy. Not just that, I truly felt like family and that my pain was their pain. Issues are bound to come up if you travel enough, what matters is how they are resolved. The team showed just how wonderful they were by taking care of me throughout anything that came up.
Third, the pool is lovely. Since it's not a huge hotel the pool and setup is a great size.
Thank you, team, for the wonderful stay!
