"Tropical Island is great for children and a fun time out for the family. The room was okay, beds were uncomfortable. There was no soap in the bathroom with toilet. The air conditioning in the room did not work, so was quite warm and stuffy in the room."

The only downsides for me were having to pay €12 per day for parking, the food at the spa bar, which could definitely be better, and an additional Energiekostenpauschale that was charged but not specified on Expedia. Other than that, everything was great."

"Lovely hotel and in a very calm and quiet spot. Rooms were modern and clean and really helpful reception staff. Good breakfast selection and great coffee. We would certainly be happy to stay here again. Train station just a few minutes walk away too and just €7.50 to the airport✈️ 👍"

The rooms are nice and clean but looking a bit tired now and would be nice to have a kettle in the room so you can make a hot drink, there is a large flask in the foyer/lobby but it gets cooler later on, also there's some teas and fruit there when the dinning room is closed.
