Basic no frills stay. Clean room, adequate bed. Not cheap but ReykjavĂ­k is expensive so reasonable. Very very convenient to #9 bus stop for pick up for fly bus or other tours .

This was actually a nice stay! I got my own room and it was quite clean and organized! The kitchen is spacious and with all you need ! Highly recommend this stay and not far from rainbow street on one of the main shopping streets !

We were able to check into our room before noon which we really appreciated. Staff was pleasant, the room was basic. Bathrooms and showers were clean. It seemed that not all hand dryers in the bathrooms were working. That's the only negative, and a minor one at that.

The owner manager was extremely friendly as was a young Chinese student worker. Kitchen workers were just like in china, uninterested. The food in the restaurant was very good and inexpensive by Icelandic standards We had a room without toilet or shower but it was okay. Good size and comfortable beds We were happy In addition the flybus stops right outside the door Also the hotel is very centrally located

The hotel is central to food areas, a handfull of city tourist spots, the hop on and off bus (#7), local bus(#9), lagoon excusion and alike excursions are across the the street. The rooms are not modern BUT it does the job. Some rooms include a personal restroom and others have communal restrooms so you have options of room layout there. The restaurant is in the lobby and save 10% off when you eat there. They also store bags if you arrive earlier than the check in time. The front desk was very nice and the checkout mailbox is easy to find especially when it is 2:30am for the local bus when traveling out of the city. The elevators are small but fits 2 people with luggage. I highly recommend!

The room was clean and provided what what we needed for an overnight stay. We got there way early and he secured our bags until back from our excursion. Only issue is that older folk like us are not as savvy with smaller hotels that don’t man front desk and those procedures. Luckily others were getting in so we did too. Found the buzzer to communicate with manager. Very helpful and understanding.
