LOOOOVED this hotel! Great ENTIRE gym access right next door anytime it was open. Fantastic staff and CLEAN! Loved the breakfast. Rooms were clean and specious. New and comfortable. Consierge was amazing. HIGHLY recommend this location.

The hotel was clean and the staff were all very helpful. The rooms were smaller than I am used to (we struggled fining a place for our clothes as there was not dresser or other spot to unpack. Just a small open closet space by the bathroom. The shower was great and a shampoo/body wash combo was provided. Breakfast was good. Eggs and bacon available on the weekend in addition to the toast/waffles fresh fruit and yogurts.

Overall, our stay was good and we enjoyed it. The place itself was nice and everything was comfortable. However, the breakfast could have been better. There was food available and it was alright, but for the price we paid, we were hoping for more variety and better options. The selection felt quite limited and there wasn’t much to choose from. With a bit more effort put into breakfast, this would have been a much better experience.

The breakfast selection was excellent and delicious! The front desk staff were very helpful and were always ready to answer any questions we had during our stay. I highly recommend Hotel Vellir. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the location is excellent. It offers easy access to the highway towards Reykjavik or to Keflavik airport, making everyday road trips a breeze.
