Small but nice hotel and for the price we paid for 4 persons, it is excellent value. It even has stove, silvery, plates and glasses, so you can cook and warm up take out foods from nearby restaurants.

So it’s well situated, easy to find, and clean, tidy etc, but can be a challenge for parking etc.

The location of hotel is convenient and has adequate space to accomodate 4 people even the sofa bed is opened. One light was found malfunction when check in the hotel and the staff was informed. Though no repairing/ replacement was carried out but not affecting the experience of stay.

Room very nice. Hotel unmanned so initial access was not ideal, particularly for early arrival and should you need to leave luggage while explore the area. Otherwise, the room was very nice and the restaurant below was a good option and provided good food.

The hotel room itself was fantastic - lots of space, comfy bed, well decorated. But the street was SO noisy (I was there on a Friday night) it made it difficult to sleep and the stupid automatic door lock did not work at all. I had to call and have a staff member remote access to let me in - really wish we could go back to real keys! You also have to walk through a restaurant to get to the elevator which was a little awkward.

This hotel couldn't have a better location. Right in the middle of everything and a 3 minute walk to the bus stop but at the same time was a lovely and peaceful stay.

Despite the name, it’s not an hotel, but a b&b: it should be specified, because it’s listed and filtered as an hotel. The room is on the back of a restaurant, so to access the room you have to go through the restaurant. The room is spacious but it has only a sky-window with a blinder that is difficult to open/close. The breakfast is delivered in a bag left at the door. No towel changing. Good cleanness. Great position.

Review of our Stay at Vera Hotel

Our stay at the Vera Hotel in Reykjavik was quite good! The room was nice, pretty quiet, clean, and conveniently located in Reykjavik. The bed was comfortable. A big plus was that the room included a sink, hot plate, table for two, and refrigerator! The only negative about the room was I wish the shower curtain was weighted so it wouldn't blow on you while showering. Other than that, we were very happy with Vera Hotel!!

Very clean and comfortable self-check in aparthotel in the heart of Reykjavik's dining and shopping along Laugavegur (Flybus drop off/pick up: Stop 9, OK Studios) We had a smooth check-in, a good stay and a smooth check-out. No staff on-site but host was clear in their instructions and prompt in theirccommunication via emails in the few days before and during our stay. Kitchen was well-equipped and stocked for cooking and cleaning (the coffee machine, freezer fridge, stove, grill microwave and dishwasher worked great, self-paid basement laundry facilities were a godsend). We were fine without daily cleaning as the large trash bins were sufficient for 3-4 nights. Would stay here again!
