"This ship/hotel was a unique luxury five star experience and the perfect respite from the business of Edinburgh during the Fringe festival. The decor and design were elegant, the service impeccable, and the food at the Lighthouse was phenomenal. Our room was spacious, our shower luxurious, and the towels and bathrobes were generously sized. Extra special touches like chilled water carafes and fresh raspberry macarons left by staff during turn down service for were appreciated. One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had."

"We arrived in the morning on a red-eye flight so we really appreciated the hotel offering a secure locked baggage drop as we went out to see the city. Overall, didn't love the hotel but we were lucky to find a family room in Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival. Our room's window looked out on the parking garage (strange) and the whole floor seemed a little bit musty. Breakfast was mid, standard hotel buffet, though the coffee was good."

"It was a unique stay on a boat in Leith that had clearly been lovingly restored and maintained. We loved our room and the decor. The staff were outstanding from the moment we came aboard, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area and very attentive. We especially thought that the young waiter at the bar who made our cocktails was really lovely, cheery and funny. There was a very small issue with our room which was quickly resolved but we were delighted to be given 2 mugs as a ‘sorry for the inconvenience’ which is a lovely memento of our stay and a testament to how really lovely the staff were. We will certainly be back."
