"Hillary was very kind and accommodating to our early arrival. Our room was in the basement and it was very quiet. The continental breakfast was very good. It’s a beautiful home and quite nice."
"We were obsessed with this hotel. It was so pretty and eclectic inside, great art and decor in the rooms. Staff was so nice and the breakfast was to die for. We did a very impromptu whisky tasting and learned a lot- it was better than the whisky tour we did earlier in the week. We were sad to go and can’t wait to visit again! "

Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh - Leith Waterfront by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and tidy. Nice staff not always knowledgable about the locality. Appreciate this can be difficult.
Main lift out of order and not repaired while we were there"
"Room was spacious and bed comfortable.
The shower / toilet and vanity arrangement was unusual in that the vanity area was open .
Note there are no coffee facilities in the room."
"The property was beautiful inside and out. It was modern and clean, with lovely fixtures and fittings. The location is fine with easy transport links into the city centre and there are some nice artisan bakeries and coffee shops within walking distance to go and have breakfast. It was a tiny bit disappointing that there is no breakfast available.
There is also no reception or staff available on site so check in has to be done remotely on your mobile prior to arrival and you will then recieve a code to enter both the building and your room.
All in all it was a very pleasant stay, bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We'd definately stay again."
"Great value, clean room, excellent location, very nice staff.
Only hitch was that the curtain for the skylight wouldn't close, but the nice lady at the front desk offered up some beers as an apology. Worked for me! Oh and they deactivated our room code prior to checkout time. Luckily there was someone at the front desk to give us an actual key card.
All in all, great though. "
