Short distance to a bakery, an Asian diner, a grocery store, and a pizza joint. The train station is nearby with multiple bus stations. It is Across the street from the Columbia Theater, Grant Park and the lake. I have to admit, I was more than a bit hesitant to visit Chicago, but I found the Downtown area very clean, well maintained, And secure. A beautiful City with a rich history. "

"This was our second time staying at the Blake. We love the ambiance and the staff. They have the nicest valet parking attendants as well as front desk folks. They take things seriously, but are still super friendly. Very professional. The room was spacious and lovely. We loved the decide that pays hommage to the history of the area. The bathroom was lovely with a big shower and nice decor. The only hiccup was all of the construction in front of their entrance, but that can hardly be helped. Tha KS for a great stay!"
