"急遽GWの琵琶湖に行くことになったのですが、近辺のホテルがとれなかったのでこちらに泊まりました。エキストラベッドのお願いをしておいたので用意してくれてあってとても助かりました。アダルト専用ホテルでしたが部屋はふつうのホテルっぽい内装だったのと、お風呂が広くてゆっくりできたのでとても快適でした。フロントの方も優しかったです。また琵琶湖に行く時は利用したいと思いました。"

"A classic onsen hotel near Ogotoonsen Station on the Kosei Line, about 20 minutes from Kyoto. The property has that old-fashioned Japanese charm — a bit dated in places, but warm and inviting. My room was traditional with futon bedding, which may not suit everyone, but I really enjoyed the authentic experience. The private onsen bath was wonderfully relaxing, and the rooftop open-air bath overlooking the lake was a highlight, especially in the cool evening air. Dinner was a full multi-course...

"Most memorable stay of our trip. There’s a shuttle service from the station which was very helpful and makes commute easy. All the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. The private onsen in the room was lovely. Kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast were excellent. We had a very lovely stay here and would highly recommend. "

"What a beautiful experience we had at the ryokan. A perfect setting overlooking the lake, quiet, no noise from the town below. The staff was very kind and courteous, always helpful in assisting us with our questions. We learned about Japanese culture and had a wonderful experience; definitely get the dinner, it was worth it. "Vessel Inns really growing on me. Rooms are usually bigger than most standard Japanese biz hotels with free 'proper' coffee in the lobby an added bonus. Breakfast at the downstairs bakery also good."

"The staff are very kind. It is clean and the surrounding facilities are very good. However, women in their 40s working in the morning tend to discriminate against foreigners. It makes overbearing remarks and actions to foreigners. Other than that, it's a very nice hotel."
