"Excellent, easy-to-get to hotel with wonderful lake view; very good place to stay and access Kyoto/Uji etc.
The only slight criticism would be the swimming pool - access earlier in the day (from 7:00 am ? and maybe keeping it open later than 17:00) would be highly desirable !!"

The staff gave us a check in receipt with instructions on how to operate our room lights, breakfast times, key instructions for our room, and check out info. Unfortunately we did not pay attention to the check out time but they called and reminded us. The staff were kind and extended our time for us for a small fee which we did not mind paying to be there the hour over time. The hotel was the most pleasant hotel experience we have had in all over our traveling and we will be returning again in April 2026."
