"We stayed in an Executive room for five nights. 1. We weren't told that the room is cleaned and tidied only every other day. Things like that should be mentioned in advance. 2. There was a coffee machine in the room. We ran out of coffee capsules after a day and a half. When I asked why the coffee supplies hadn't been replenished, I was told that this had to be done through room service (for a fee!)"

"Great find for a short stay in Rhodes town. I chose a 4-bed dorm which had penty of space and large lockers included. A chair in the room would have been useful as you can't sit if you are in a top bunk. The kitchen was really useful and a nice garden table to eat breakfast at. The front of the hotel had a terrace with tables and chairs for late night chats with other guests. The owner (Matt?) was super helpful and nice and having lived in Australia speaks English perfectly. I walked from the centre of town with a backpack which was a bit of a treck. But once you are there it's a good base to get into town on foot in 20 minutes. Last but not least, eat at the nearby Mezedopolia Notia - a fabulous local meze restaurant with huge portions and great prices."
S. Nikolis Historic Boutique Hotel

"We booked this hotel at the last minute after a disastrous check-in experience at Arthur Suites (which we very much do NOT recommend). As soon as we arrived at S Nikolas, the experience was dramatically better. We were greeted at the check-in deck with a very friendly welcome, given good advice about booking a taxi for the airport early versus trying to find one on the streets, given a choice of rooms, etc. All of the staff from the breakfast waitress to the front desk lady who booked our morning taxi and drove us in her golf cart through the tiny Old Town lanes to meet the taxi, were extremely nice - friendly and polite. The hotel itself is in a quiet section of the Old Town, well away from the crowded more touristy areas, and is a very old beautiful stone building. Our room, in the medieval annex, was lovely, with a complimentary bottle of wine. The breakfast in the garden courtyard was delicious, and plentiful. All in all, a delightful stay, we definitely recommend it, and will stay there again when next in Rhodes."

"A great resort, I would say it’s more of a 4 star and definitely focused on families. I believe it is too big to maintain a 5 star standard, as it missed the finesse that others show, more because of its struggles to cope with a large number of guests. The location is amazing, close to old town and all the bays. Swim up pool is good, the vent for the sewage was near ours, so you would get a whiff and I noticed some of the other swim up rooms didn’t even get the sun. I could have complained, but the hotel was that full, I couldn’t see what they would be able to do to fix this. The buffet was ok, nothing that stands out though, felt that the a la cartes were just the buffet plated up by someone else. The street food hub was ok but they always got the order wrong, so something to be aware of. A small thing, but how you judge a hotel quite quickly, no welcome drink and checking in felt more like a factory process. So if you are after a true 5 star experience, then maybe not, if you don’t like hearing kids, then maybe not but if you are after a high end 4 star in a great location and you have kids, then yes (if you get a good deal and not 5 star prices)."

"The hotel is not as new and luxurious as I hoped but the rooms are very big and spacious, the amenities were convenient, the food at the hotel restaurants was good and above all- the staff was very friendly, helpful and kind and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. At the end, it was a great vacation"
