For the absolute best way to see the Trevi Fountain this is the place to stay!!! Be sure to request the room with a view of course!! The breakfast on top floor overlooking the fountain was also a great addition. The area is perfect for eating and shopping!!!

This property location is great, right across from Trevi Fountain, but it also means that it is in a pedestrian only zone, so you have to wheel your bag on a cobblestone street through a very dense crowd to get there. Our room was way smaller than the photos showed, and the fire escape map showed that our room was the only one that small on our floor but we got it. Your legs touch the sink when you stand up from the toilet because the bathroom is so small. Your body touches the dirty shower curtain because it’s so small. They put towels on the bed because there’s no room for towels in the bathroom (or your vanity kit). The bed was pushed against the wall so you had to crawl to the front of the bed to get out on one side.

Our stay at Hotel Fontana was excellent from check in to check out! The staff were incredibly accommodating, helping schedule transportation, and even calling airport handling to ask about my delayed baggage. They truly went above and beyond, and we were so grateful for all they did! Should we come back to Rome, we will absolutely stay here again!
