The hotel was fantastic. The staff was very accommodating and friendly as well. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because even though we paid for an upgraded room, the room we got was very small and the bed very uncomfortable. Our friends who didn’t upgrade got a large, beautiful room with couch and desk and a much nicer bed. I would still recommend staying here. It was a great location and I can’t say enough about the staff. They were fantastic! Breakfast was great as well!

We found the staff to be very responsive and helpful and liked that the hotel had a person on staff at all times to hold luggage or help hail a cab to the airport. It's a very quiet boutique hotel just off the main street helping it to be quiet but very close to all site seeing, transportation and restaurants - a perfect combination in my opinion. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good with a large spread of healthy options. Don't let the buffet breakfast deter you, it had lots of great options including cut and whole fruit, nuts, pastries, real eggs (not the rubber ones you usually find at hotels), lots of juices and both hot and cold food options. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay and excellent location. Note that if you’re looking for a decent length shower, this is not it. The hot water runs out quickly and this is my largest criticism of La Rovere. But the staff were great and always helpful.

Excellent breakfast. Loved the self serve juicer. Comfortable room. Close to the Vatican but a long walk from the centre of Rome. Nice walk to Trastevere. Quiet area.

This hotel is top-notch. Every single staff member was courteous, professional and extremely helpful. The desk helped make a reservation in Sorrento before we arrived. On the day we arrived, we dropped off our bags at the front desk and headed out for Florence, not returning until about 9:00 pm. After a brief and simple check in, we found our bags had been delivered to our room! Our room was not large, but we didn’t expect it to be. We found the hotel quiet and our room very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet one morning and it was very good and priced reasonably. We recommend this hotel! Try it - you won’t be disappointed!

What a lovely hotel, on an alley one street up from the river. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, the room clean with a balcony and lovely view. Walkable to just about everything!

The only issue with this hotel is the approach. Hard for larger vehicles to pickup and dropoff. Anything letter than a small car. Alley and stairs to the hotel entrance from dropoff was slightly jarring. But in fairness , well lit at night. Once there we felt comfortable going to and from the hotel. And a very good place to see everything. Great staff. Super helpful. Super kind.

Room was extremely clean after each time housekeeping was in. Bed was a bit firm for me and staff added a topper which helped a ton and made sleeping much easier. Front desk staff was always helpful, accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good, delicious fresh made coffee and the staff was great. The location was good and just a short walk to the centre and to the Vatican. No complaints, every staff member was so accommodating and helpful, that’s what really stood out to me the most.

Yes,will definitely stay here again. Room is clean,staff are very professional.me and my wife would like to give a special mention to the check in staff specifically to Julius who communicated with us on our entire visit.and also to the cafeteria staff who served an amazing breakfast and service.special shout out to polly who even played a birthday song on the day of my birthday.the location is perfect for us cuz it’s only a short distance to the Vatican and Tresvere.we will see you again in our next visit.

The La Rovere is in an excellent location. Away from the noisy city center; walkable to all surrounding locations. The room was clean; staff very helpful; Definitely consider this location on the next trip.
