The property was a little difficult to get to due to the police presence in the square, but upon arrivial, we were warmly greeted and welcomed. We got a free upgrade to a room facing the piazza and it was amazing. We checked in early and they had our room ready in 10 minutes. We ate their breakfast every morning and it was delicious. The bed was firm but not too firm. And the room was quiet! Thats a rarity in some Roman neighborhoods. Our minibar wasn't working so they replaced it while we were out on a Sunday. We never bought anything from the minibar but used it to store our drinks and keep them cold. The bartender was very friendly and also Mirko was a great help. He gave us recommendations on what to see in Trestevere. Rome is a big city and we used the bus and the tram to get around. There are several bus stops close by. Upon departure, they called us a cab and we were able to get to the train station with no issues. They, like all hotels in Rome, charge 6 Euro per person per night tax so you will have to pay that when leaving. Overall this was an amazing way to spend 5 nights in the eternal city.
