We read online that check-in was open all day but to notify the hotel when we wanted to check-in (14:00) which we did, however, we arrived a little early at 13:30. We could not find the hotel as it is an apartment converted into a hotel meaning there was no sign outside, only the name in small writing on the apartment buzzer leading us to walk around for a while. When we finally found the right door we pressed the buzzer and it did not work, however, when our host finally came it did work so there must have been a technical issue. We found him to be pleasant enough. When we booked we were notified that we had a ‘VIP Offer’, €15 to spend in the hotel. Upon check-in we were notified that we would not be able to redeem our offer but rather have our room ‘upgraded’. We felt that we did not have an upgraded room. I’d even say that the room looked worse than the one we booked online, I felt cheated. Residenza Roma need an updated photo online. I felt that the room was in a poor state compared to the photo online. Our room had not been ‘upgraded’. It had marked walls (see the photo provided), dusty bedside tables and wardrobe, a damaged window, the bathroom was in a poor state and the shower head, I’ll leave you to make your own judgement with the photo attached. We found that the kettle was dirty with a few small hairs inside rendering it unusable. Our mini-fridge did not work. There was a censored light in the hall which was very temperamental, it was hard to put the key in th

Great location and very helpful staff

This hotel is in good location. Its about 20 mins walk from all the major attraction with good bus links. The staff were excellent and gave us some brilliant recommendations for food and drink that really added to our trip. My only criticism would be of the breakfast. It's served in a cafe round the corner and consists of coffee, a party and a fruit juice. It just wasn't enough and there was no option to add to it. However for the price of the room I cant really complain and there were plenty of places to eat a short walk from the hotel . I would Definately recommend staying here.

Perfekt läge och funkar perfekt,ej för kräsna dock

Lite slitet men perfekt läge till stan. Ett par minuters promenad så är du mitt i stan. Ligger i en mysig kvarter, Marcello vid mottagningen var fantastisk. Om man inte är allt för kräsen så funkar det fint att bo på hotellet. Jag skulle kunna tänka mig och bo där igen.

Godt og enkelt hotel med super beliggenhed i Rom :

Rigtig fint og enkelt hotel med god beliggenhed i Rom, hvor du kan gå til de mest populære seværdigheder i Rom. 15-20 min gåtur til Vatikanstaten. Tæt på Via del Corso med shopping, 1 km til Den Spanske Trappe, Piazza Navona og Castel Sant'Angelo. Marcello i receptionen var utrolig flink og anbefalede en masse seværdigeheder og restauranter samt issteder. Vi havde tilkøbt morgenmad og den blev serveret på en tætliggende cafe (Salvatore Di Matteo Le Gourmet) Morgenmaden var meget enkel og bestod af en kaffe/cappucino, frugtjuice, croissant eller toast. Stedet serverede dog lækre pizzaer om aftenen som vi nød. Vær opmærksom på, at det ikke er døgnåbnet reception, men det gjorde os ikke noget.

The room was very small for three people but the location was great and it was easy to walk to most of the attractions. If you just need somewhere safe and quiet to sleep rather than a room to hang out it - this place is fine.

Excellent position, excellent room and an excellent staff! My stay at residenza Roma has been absolutely fantastic. We've been warmly welcomed and introduced to our room and to the main city attractions, together with receiving some useful tips about the best local restaurants. The staff, who speaks English fluently, has been friendly and open to all our demands. The room was sparkling clean, comfortable and luminous. Located in walking distance to all the main city attractions, but, at the same time isolated form the chaos of the vity center, the position of the residenza Roma is absolutely perfect. The neighbourhood, Prati,is safe, beautiful and rich in restaurants. I would totally recommend residenza Roma to all those people who would love to spend a delightful holiday in Rome!

Stayed at this hotel a few years ago before Gisn Luca , or whoever took over. Booked this in advance of our trip expecting the same level of hospitality and service. WE ARE SOO DISGUSTED WITH WHAT WE GOT THIS TIME. When you he welcomes you with a nervous and a story about how he is overworked and cannot remember requests you officially made with him regarding your stay, in advance. We found rst droppings in our room the last night...would not recommend leaving your luggage in the front, there are no cameras and we are missing valuable things that disappeared. The breakfast they offer at a bar around the corner for 6 euros comes with coffee and a pastry of their choice.. only thing free is the horrible attitude. A member of our group was advised to go to the pizzeria next door. Even though they wanted to split a pizza , they were obloged to purchase twp pizzas? . We had bought personal food, placed it on the fridge It magically disappeared...no apologies everything is your fault. Do not recommend this place for any reason.LAST BUT NOT LEAST.HOMOPHBIC REMARKS WERE COMMON PLACE AMONG THE STAFF, AND INCORRECT ASSUMPTIONS WERE MADE ABOUT CLIENTS ECONOMIC STATUS.

La persona encargada de la recepción (Jessica) del hotel me pareció muy inflexible, tratando de imponer reglas de comportamiento para los niños. No recomendable con familia, le dan mucha importancia al silencio en horarios donde todos están despiertos (15:00). Algo sin sentido cuando hay niños presentes!
