I traveled by myself and the room and bath were all that I needed so the “suites” were perfect for my needs. Martina helped me out with another booking and was friendly and helpful.
Near to San Pietro Railways Station with frequent services and end line of two popular buses No 64 and 62 with frequent departures to travel and visit the Historic central area of Rome.
Walkable distance to St Petere's square and Basilica and the Vatican Museum and State.
Very clean and accommodating staff. Would recommend and would repeat the experience.
The staff were very welcoming from start to finish. We received a message before we arrived with details on how to find the apartment and any other info we needed prior to arising. Vatican City is less than a 10 minute walk (could see the basilica from our window), and all other main attractions about a 40 minute walk or 30 min bus journey, however we found that the walk was very lovely and allowed for extra sight seeing, so we only ended up taking the bus 1-2 times (bus stop is very close too).
There is also an array of convenience shops, souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and dessert spots dotted around, all of which were delicious and had great staff.
Would 1000% recommend staying here during your visit to Rome, could not find a single fault with our stay as the staff were super accommodating and flexible, and the location was very convenient. We also felt super safe as 2 girls staying together as the entry to the apartment had several locks.
Charming room, spacious, bathroom updated- bed comfy! Near Vatican City. Very detailed instructions for self checkin. Many small cafes nearby for breakfast or dinner. Quiet neighborhood.
Very nice and helpful staff (Luca and Martina). Rooms were clean and house-keeping was great. Regarding the location, there are a couple of nice restaurants and cafes around the hotel and bus #64 that goes to the city center passes a station 100 meters away from the hotel. The only downside was the loud noises coming from the entrance area and the neighboring rooms (thin walls). Overall, it was a nice experience.
This place was excellent. Clean, great location to Vatican, great service...I would highly recommend this place for anyone going to Rome. The room I had, did have a little balcony that gives a good view of the Vatican and how close it is.
San Pietro Suites has the look of an older building with charm, however, the bedrooms are modern and very comfortable.
Loved that we could walk up the street to the Vatican.
The staff (Luca) especially was the best!!
The place was clean and very nice. We had a cute balcony with a view on the Basilica. Very close to Vatican and a taxi stand. We loved it. Thanks for The owners help also along our trip !
Really liked the stay. Luca was very helpful, the hotel is located a bit far from the main attractions except the Vatican.
The local transport in Rome is really bad and you can’t trust the bus / train timings.
I found the San Pietro Suites a fantastic place to stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean and kept that way by the daily cleaning. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location was excellent- it is only yards away from the 64 bus, the train station and the taxi rank. I would be happy to recommend it to others and would be happy to return.
The hotel rooms were excellent, clean and just as in the pictures. The location was great, vatican was very close by and with bus we could enter the city center easily. Luca and Martina were both very warm and welcoming hosts. They even helped us out of their business hours out of their goodness. We can only strongly recommend staying here.
Love this place. Very modern feel for a european hotel. Very spacious and very close to the vatican. May be a bit out of the way for the other sites but it’s very close to bus number 62. So if you get tired from walking just take the bus and it’s 120 meters away.
The restaurants around the area have amazing food and are open late. I sugges you eat around the area before going to avoid the tourist trap price of the other dining options in downtown rome
It was a good location and convenient to the train station. Excellent restaurants in the area. The elevator was out of order and we were on the fourth floor. It made it difficult to get all of our luggage down when checking out. It was self check in so there wasn’t anyone available when we needed more towels. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and our room was beautiful.
Worst experience of our trip. Room was filthy, had BED BUGS. There are only a few rooms at this place, which are right off reception area that was always noisy with people coming and going and slamming doors. Got locked out twice due to a VERY old stubborn door at the street entrance. (three difficult old doors to go through to get into reception!)
The two millennials running this place are inept and rude.THEY clean the room (no professional housekeepers / cleaners). Slimy residue all over bathroom vanity. Glasses were dirty, one even had a long hair in it.
Book at your own peril.
NOT WORTH IT - such a terrible property - AVOID.
