The staff was very attentive. The breakfast buffet was a bit expensive. We were in a suite which was two hotel rooms. The furniture in the non bedroom side was sparse and uncomfortable. We used it to store our luggage. The hotel is in a nice area and you feel safe walking around. After our Florence hotel this one was a bit disappointing.

Viminale is a classic hotel with history. It has been updated but still has character. The room was very clean, the bathroom sparkled. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread and room were excellent. It is well located within easy walking distance to transportation, the Piazza Republica and the train terminal. I highly recommend it if you are looking beyond the cookie cutter chain hotels.
