"I was a bit surprised to be put in a room on the old side of the hotel - a bit souless. I'm sure the more modern side to the hotel is nice, but I didn't get to see it"

"Booked this hotel as a part way kne night stopover. On arrival we were welcomed at reception by Chad who checked us in and gave us a comprehensive guide to everything in the hotel. Our bedroom was huge and very clean. We made our way to the restaurant and had a nice meal cooked for us by a young lady who I sadly didn't her name. We had a hood nights sleep followed by a real nice breakfast. Best of all was the price of £62 including breakfast. I would like to add that Chad was very informative, helpful and is a credit to thus hotel. We would certainly stay here again."

"Thread bare carpets. Lighting unsynced and difficult to work out in the bedroom. Dirty toilet bowl. Spar. Changing rooms unkept with broken lockers. Worst of all, an hour and a half wait for our meal in the restaurant, the food was just thrown on the plate with no attempt at presentation, especially considering the price. Our question as to where are meal was shrugged off. When we complained all that was said was would we like a free drink? Really?This hotel presents itself as a top class wedding venue. Personally I would be embarrassed to invite friends and family to."

"A superb hotel for the price which was significantly lower than similar options in the locality. I made a mistake leaving a shirt and jeans in my room after leaving, the staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me in getting the items posted back to my house - really went the extra mile. Great value, great location, great staff."
