I have never felt so unwelcome in a hotel in my life. I literally avoided the people who worked here because they made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by simply being present. It's funny how I spent $35 at another hotel, which had a massive room, fireplace, beautiful balcony and views, great amenities, and a staff that was SO helpful that they even changed the breakfast time from 7:30 to 7:00 just so that I could eat before my tour. This hotel was an absolute splurge at $80-$120 a room, and yet I could touch all four walls from my bed (the room is that small), the staff was disgraceful, the breakfast serves grey bacon and isn't even included in the room price, I didn't have a balcony, the pool that they brag about WASN'T EVEN OPEN. I think the worst part though was that when I went to check out, giving myself time to get breakfast elsewhere before starting my two day trek, they accused me of breaking their trash can and made me sit in the lobby for a solid 25 minutes, eventually bringing down the bin which had already been taped together by someone else, probably them. So by the time I got to leave, I didn't even have time to eat. I wouldn't be surprised if this is something they've done before. NEVER EVER EVER EVER STAY HERE.
