Bar, restaurant , housekeeping and spa staff all friendly and professional however gotta say a huge thanks to Adrienne on the front desk and the team. "Beautiful monastery restored! Lovely breakfast included, great bar and restaurant, and lovely to eat and sip in the courtyard. I wasn’t aware when I booked it that it was at the top of the hill… hard to determine on a two-dimensional map! But what a treat to discover it! Easy 5 min walk to the Roman amphitheater, and another 5 min to the Basilica and the funicular to take you down to the old, lively city center. It was very hot while we were there and the A/C (like many European hotels) was not very powerful. But overall a wonderful experience. "
