"Newer hotel with AC. But…. This newer hotel also has you use your room key to scan for the elevator. Doesn’t sound like an issue but you can only access your floor. Have friends on another floor and you need them to meet you in the lobby to get to that floor. Pool needs to be RESERVED. So zero access to the pool or BAR without a reservation. There’s nothing near this hotel as far as restaurants. One bar open till 1am next to the train (Metro) station entrance 2 city blocks from the hotel entrance. And a local food mart across from the same Metro station. Staff is great but did have issues with those room keys that are also needed for the AC and the room lights. Not a fan but price was reasonable and it had AC so definitely needed that in July of 2026."

"Novotel was the best! I will make Novotel home base if I go back to Paris again and will check to see if there are any Novotel hotels in the countries that I will be traveling to in the future. The staff was very kind and helpful. The restaurant was excellent! We ate there several times. The deHalles location was so very convenient! Thank you for helping to make a most memorable trip!"

"Our two night stay with two children was exceptional. The reception and staff were very friendly and helpful. The recent renovations were beautiful done and make the hotel modern, yet still charming. We know the rooms in Paris tend to be small, so we found our Junior Suite to be very generous to sleep four travelers and enough luggage for our two week trip. The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. We took advantage of the breakfast at the hotel, both mornings. The breakfast staff was so warm and hospitable, especially Salink who was so friendly and accommodating to our children. The food spread was delightful (various pains, croissants, eggs, yogurts, charcuterie). The location is incredible, a block from the Seine and a short walk to Louvre, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle and the Conciergerie. It’s on a side street, which was extremely quiet, yet in the middle of an exciting area, packed with bars, restaurants, nightlife and lots of historic and cultural sites. The area was safe and easy to navigate. A nearby grocery store and Metro stop made for an added convenience. Staying at the Hotel Des Orfevres helped us make the most of our short visit to Paris."
