"Lovely hotel and staff. Pool is not for swimming, it’s too small. We stayed in a quite spacious, superior room facing the marina, not sure how big the standard rooms are. The bar is very comfortable. If you take the demi pension, at dinner you only have two choices for each course. The director kindly gave us a lift to the walled town (15 mins walk) as the hurricane had just hit and they’re were no taxis that night. "

"The hotel is in the middle of the old town, getting there by car on a Saturday lunchtime was a bit of an experience. Once at the hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful, some do speak English if you do not speak French. They offer parking at €20/night, it's in an underground car park maybe ten minutes away, cheaper than parking in the large carpark outside we were told. "The room was spacious with a large bathroom (somewhat unusual in the older hotels). The intra-muros area of St. Malo is small, so everything is close - the ramparts and beach are a 5-minute walk and there is a wide selection of boulangeries and restaurants close by. Staff was welcoming and helpful and the room was very clean."
