"It was full of residents that were using the place as a hostel. There was empty beer bottles and cans around the tables in front of reception and the whole experience was like staying in a migrant camp. It felt threatening and totally unsafe. Add to that a filthy toilet bowl and I would never go near this place again if you paid me"

"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. Stay away! Nice area, but not...

"Fantastic stopover before getting the ferry home (just an hour from Dunkirk) Four to a room was a little cosy but the pull out double sofa bed (actually two single beds) was brilliant for the children. Lovely breakfast, super clean rooms, just over the road from a huge mall where we ate dinner. Didn’t use the pool but looked inviting. Very helpful staff. Nice touches like free water refills (still and sparkling) TV that you can cast from phone (we watched a movie from our Disney plus subscription) "
