We (2 adults 2 children) had a really lovely stay. Family room was fantastic - super clean, very comfortable, fantastic bathroom. Hosts were kind and friendly and helpful. Such a delight to wake up with the birds and horses. Would love to go back.

Une expérience mitigée en Camargue ..

Un hôtel de petite taille, une douzaine de chambres, plutôt simple mais confortable. L'ensemble aurait besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement, mais la localisation fait oublier tout le reste. La propreté est au rendez-vous. La salle de bain agréable. La literie principale est bonne mais le lit d'appoint, car oui même dans la junior suite pour 4 personnes, il ne s'agit que d'un lit d'appoint du genre lit cigogne, qui laisse à désirer, je ne la conseille qu'aux enfants de moins de 10 ans. Le petit-déjeuner peut être pris à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur, plutôt cher mais bon, nous avons apprécié la terrasse et sa vue magnifique sur le parc extérieur et les chevaux. La piscine est un plus évident, il faut néanmoins noter qu'elle n'est pas chauffée et qu'en Mai par exemple, elle reste très très fraîche. Enfin, l'amabilité du couple gestionnaire reste, à mon goût, clairement à améliorer. Pas d'effort particulier ni à l'arrivée ni au départ. Il nous a été demandé à peine arrivés, de déplacer notre véhicule pourtant bien garé. Pendant notre séjour, il nous a également été reproché de faire trop de bruit, nous avions pourtant passé la journée à cheval, rentrés à 20h00 fort fatigués et tous endormis à 22h00. Nous n'avons pas compris d'où venait la gêne, surtout qu'aucune explication ne nous fût donnée. Nous y retournerons peut-être car les balades chez Élise, à qui appartiennent les chevaux de l'hôtel, fût une expérience inoubliable, de très grande qualité. Sans cela, je ne pense pas.

Fluenes hotel

Mye potensial i dette hotellet, men dette blir ødelagt av dårlig vedlikehold, fryktelig hygieniske forhold og en mengde fluer og mygg som jeg ikke trodde var mulig. På veggene og rundt døren på rommet vi ble tildelt sto hundrevis av fluer og ventet på å få slippe inn. Dette var velkomsten vår hver bidige gang vi skulle inn eller ut. En god time ble brukt etter hver gang til å drepe fluer og mygg på rommet. Kunne heller ikke ha vinduene på badet åpne da begge disse hadde store hull. Frokosten ble servert ute, var begrenset i utvalg og ikke verdt prisen. Der ble en også holdt med selskap av en flue-arme. I tillegg hadde du katter som la seg på bordene og stolene (fulle av spindelvev og støv noe som gav ett mindre appetittvekkende inntrykk når en skulle spise. Ingen kjøleskap på hotellrommet, men det sto mange i entreen så mulig de hadde tenkt å oppgradere rommene. Badene var nylig oppgradert og fremsto som fine og renslige. Renholdet av rommene var også ok, men mye støv og spindelvev i tak, hjørner og under seng m.m. Uteområdene var dårlig stelt. Gresset burde vært klippet, lys-kuppler og fasader burde vært vasket da de var skitne og det var ansamlinger av snegler over alt. Deler av fasaden så også litt falleferdig ut da store deler av taket utvendig (der en spiser frokost) var kollapset (borte) og spindelvev var over alt. Bassengområdet var ok. Mange løse fliser men renslig. Også det området med minst fluer. Fin rideopplevelse fra Chez Elise-anbefales

Charming & Friendly

Simple, well-appointed, immaculate, and very friendly. The room I stayed in was totally upgraded with fresh tile, a very comfortable bed, and the little things (hair dryer, reading lamp, towel and coat hooks, etc.) I was traveling solo and spontaneously. It was a perfect place to have as a home-base from which to explore Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer proper, the bird sanctuary nearby, and other little inlets here and there. It was a treat to be able to wander around and pet horses on the property and the owner and other staff were all very accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again!

Das „kleine“ Haus in der Prärie. Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Pferde gebucht. Das Zimmer ist mit Klimaanlage und Mückengitter ausgerüstet. Beides Dinge die wichtig sind in der Camargue. Frühstück bot alles was wir für einen guten Start in den Tag brauchten.

Je suis parti en Camargue pour pouvoir y faire des photos animalières et je n'ai pas été déçu, quelle faune! L'hôtel est également très bien situé car pas trop au centre mais pas trop excentré non plus, très proche du parc ornithologique qui plus est! Déjeuner très bon et accueil très agréable.

A small rustic hotel in the Camargue

What a charming rustic little hotel Ideally situated for riding, seeing the wild horses of the Camargue visiting the nature reserve or down the road the beach front resort of Maries de la Mer. Very pleasant stay, both our room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and we had outdoor seating opposite the pool and the corralled horses belonging to the hotel stables. The current owners have had this hotel for a couple of years and have apparently upgraded the accommodation and the pool and its surroundings. If I were to make 1 comment it would be to somehow screen some of the outside seating terrace where you have your breakfast as it can be quite chilly eating breakfast outdoors when their is a breeze even though the sun is shining.
