"This was a proper Oasis in the middle of the mountains. We had no idea what to expect as we arrived in the dark but Francisco had been very helpful on whatsapp before arriving and our late arrival (after midnight) was no problem. "Firstly, it’s an older building and that adds to the charm, so don’t expect an ultra modern room. The young lady on reception was outstanding, she couldn’t be more helpful when I wanted to connect my Firestick to the room tv to watch live football 😉. Breakfast included was excellent and plentiful and although I never thought we would use it, the food at the Bistro attached to the hotel served really good food - with the bonus of a 15% discount as a hotel guest. Location was perfect for everything Tavira had to offer"
