Great location with view on the fjord and good parking. Currently rebuilding. Scrambled eggs at breakfast tasted sour, heard later the eggs used were passed the due date.

Ereas outside the room was soo nice (lobby and eating areas + views). The room was okay but a little bit annoying that they ask for double bed or two single when they only have single beds. So as a couple we slept on two single beds pushed together. Bathroom was dirty and uncomfortable. They actually had hot breakfast and it made me soo happy but the sausage was either overcooked or bad because it was soooo mosey and the other things had a weird taste, the potatoes should have been cooked a little bit more because the slices that were a little bit bigger ver not done cooking. They were very nice and came with warm oat milk when I asked and seemed nice I think they try to be flexible and help. The stay overall was okay, but when you enter the hotel you start expecting a lot and I was a little bit disappointed.

Ran, comfortable and excellent staff
Greeted upon arrival by a very pleasant front desk and within 5 minutes we were unpacking in the room. Booked a table for dinner and then went for a walk. Dinner was pleasant and once again the hotel and restaurant staff were great. Put our daughter to bed and then the room next door went out and apparently they had dogs with (pet friendly hotel) and the dogs started yapping. I tried knocking on the door, but nobody answered, so I went and complained to reception and within a very short time, they had found the guests and moved them to a distant room. Again excellent service even in a tricky situation. Breakfast was also decent, although the buffet format with Covid19 around was a bit odd. Overall this has been a pleasant stay at a clean, comfortable spot.

The glory days of this hotel are long gone, but but nothing wrong for a quick one night. Large clean room, great looking lobby with a great view. On a negative side confusion about when breakfast starts, luckily the breakfast lady served us earlier. That didnt speed our departure however, as there was confusion over our room charge (prepayed via hotels.com) but the breakfast lady who had to check us out (?) did not see it. She spoke only norsk, me using my bad swedish...

Bra hotell men webside ikke oppdatert
Nydelig utsikt og veldig flott hotell. Hyggelig betjening. På hjemmesiden stod det at restauranten har åpent hver dag, spennende retter og at kjøkkenet gjerne komponerer spennende retter etter ønske. Da vi ringte for å bestille bord. Fikk vi beskjed om at det kun var buffe med kyllinggryte og ingen a la carte meny. Etter litt forhandling fikk vi allikevel overbevist kjøkkenet til å gå med på å servere oss en 3 retters som de foreslo. Maten smakte veldig bra. Frokosten levde også opp til våre forventninger og vi kan varmt anbefale Rognan Hotell.

Rommet var kaldt, 17,5 grad,vi satte på varmen selv. Ingen gulvvarme i 1 etasje! Gulvkaldt! Badet 14,5 grader! Varmekablene virket ikke! Ingen søppelbøtte på rommet, kun en liten på badet. Flyttet sengene, sbært støvete i krokene,under nattbodene Ikke rene underlag for tannglass. Tevannet var ikke varmt Altfor store porsjoner til frokosten, dimensjonert for et helt annet antall gjester! Matsvinn,og svært lite miljøvennlig! Gratis matpakke til gjestene vil kunne bøte på dette! Spisesal og foajé, altfor høyt under taket! Strømutgiftene må være formidable! Varme rom er ett must! Vi vurderer sterkt om dette er siste gang vi bor her.

Flott hotell som ligger dint til nede ved vannet. Stort rom men veldig kaldt både på rommet og på badet. Komfortabel seng og helt grei frokost. Ps: noe kjipen på bacon, det ble lagt opp bak disken og du fikk 2 små skiver pr person.

Det var et kort opphold over natta. Hotellet var fint, med renslig oppholdsrom. Skulle gjerne hatt en vannkoker på rommet. Bufféten var god, men kald.

Excellent rapport qualité prix 😊
Très bel hôtel qui mériterait quasiment 4* si les chambres étaient mieux insonorisées. Hall et partie commune incroyables type palace, repas du soir en formule buffet de bonne qualité et imbattable au niveau tarif pour la Norvège (200NOK/pers à volonté). Petit déjeuner très complet et qualitatif.

Wir kamen abends an und es gab noch ein Buffet, was wirklich lecker war. Die Zimmer waren gut und die Parkplätze kostenfrei. Das Frühstück war prima und die Umgebung zum See sehr schön.

Wir waren im Juli 2023 für eine Nacht in dem Hotel. Man sieht, dass in dem Hotel in der letzten Zeit sehr viel modernisiert und renoviert wurde. Die Zimmer sich top ausgestattet, groß und ruhig. Die Lage am Fjord ist traumhaft. Im Ort gibt es die verschiedensten Einkaufmöglichkeiten.
