We didn't eat out but there are a couple of eateries and a tavern within walking distance. Room is comfortable and access to freeway is a cinch. "A nice, spacious, and clean hotel. Parking is included and is conveniently located underground. Staff are nice and helpful. San Clemente is lovely, quiet and very family-friendly. Only negative review would be that the beds are a little too firm for our liking, but comfortable enough for a good night's rest. Faucet in our washroom was only letting out hot water for some reason. Otherwise, a great stay and would recommend! "

"Price worked well, clean and comfortable beds, easy check in within the prime walking locations of San Clemente. Not to mention Nomads is delish for food and just upstairs. It was a bit strange to be underneath the restaurant (sunset room) and very loud until it closed / circa 11pm. The alley is right outside the window too but was quiet once all settled and we had a great sleep. Noted -

"What an adorable little vintage motel! First of all, the owners are so kind and friendly! The room itself was adorable. Basic in terms of decor but nicely appointed. Extremely clean and stocked with bathing necessities and an awesome hair dryer! Comfy bed, quiet safe room and location. Loved it! Room was small so best for a couple but excellent location off 5 freeway. The community kitchen was a cool concept- coffee maker, small fridge, and stove to cook your own food if you wish.
