"We used to stay at this hotel at least once a year, to have a weekend with a glorious beachfront view, and we could always request the same room. Coming back now, it’s a totally different vibe. Seems like it has been bought out, and the new company only cares about profit, not the actual guests. We requested our same room and didnt get it, and instead we were berated at check-in for booking through a third party. We wanted to do laundry (which they used to have), but they no longer have it. And we requested to stay just 30 min late, so we could relax until our train departure, and they gave me a hard time. Overall it felt like they were not the least bit interested in accommodating us, but were annoyed we were taking up space there. This hotel is a very special part of our past, but maybe it should stay that way. "
