So lovely

AMAZING!!!!! Stunning hotel, super friendly, helpful…. The location is amazing, just a couple blocks from the center, with lots of restaurants, shops, bars. The Spa services were incredible. Absolutely recommend this boutique hotel!

Everything was right for Hotel Matilda. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. enjoyed very much our stay. We will return again. Exception was breakfast, poor untrained service, food was fair, availability of orange juice was partial.

Very friendly staff!!! Comfortable and great location. Water pressure wasn’t great and had to shower in a bathtub combo. Would definitely stay there again. Just in a different room.

Newer property. Excellent location. Staff was top-notch. Had one meal and that was outstanding. I asked for an iron and instead they ironed my clothes for free (including a suit). Only gripe I had is the slow shower drain which is likely due to the old town drainage system. Really a five-star experience. Be sure to tip well.

Everyone was friendly, service was good however, we were given a room, although it was big, had small windows and whited out so rather dark in the room and bathroom. The front door facing towards the open courtyard of restaurant and bar let all the music and noise in. Shower handle fell off during our stay. Hard to figure out lights and we were charged for water even though it was left on a tray with ice every night. Coffee was terrible. Breakfast was nothing great. No upgrade or offer of a quiet room.

I don’t often write reviews, but in this case, I feel I should. Positives: The staff were very helpful, and housekeeping was outstanding—honestly, the best ironed shirt I’ve ever received at a hotel. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the plaza and right on Aldama. The gym and spa were excellent; my wife especially loved her facial. Negatives: Unfortunately, the first coffee we received somehow had what seemed to be an acid-based cleaner in it, which burned my wife’s throat. That really shook our trust in the breakfast service, which was already pretty minimal to begin with. The pool is small, with very few seats, and it wasn’t well maintained—we noticed debris floating in the water. The rooms are quite tight in terms of space, though very clean.

El Hotel esta muy bien ubicado muy cerca del centro de San Miguel , el servicio es extraordinario muy personal y muy atentos todos estan muy al pendiente de todo. los cuartos son comodos y bonitos. El restaurante muy agradable y la comida muy buena. El hotel es muy recomendable .

Spectacular

This place is amazing! It is beautiful, comfortable and located close to the plaza. But what makes it outstanding is the staff - best we have ever experienced! Their care and concern for each guest is truly surprising. I needed help with a wedding bouquet and they went above and beyond to make sure I got to the people and places I needed. We became good friends in just a week. We loved everything and would recommend it highly!

Excellent service. The staff is always there when you need them . Our room got cleaned 3 to 5 times a day, that is hard to see even in a 5 star hotel. Concierge service was beyond expectation, they where able to get us a wine tour 1 hour before; even when there was no tours avaible. Bar tender service was excellent. if they don't have the drink you want, then it will be created for you. We received no excuses on why it was not possible. Everything was doable at Matilda.Strongly recommended . We will be back with more friends. Keep up with excellent service . Jose Andreu
