"I can’t say enough about the staff. They were so kind and helpful. They took care of booking our water taxis and helping with all of our needs. The location is excellent and the hotel is very clean. We will definitely be staying here again!"

Viktoria Palace Hotel

"The good things: The hotel is very oldie worldie in a good way. It suits that type of hotel in Venice. The room was extremely clean and cleaned every day if you wished. The breakfast was adequate with both continental and limited hot food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony and a sea view. The negatives, there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, the shower water was at best luke warm and the chrome surround for the shower tap was hanging off. The room had a bidet that leaked all over the bathroom floor so that was unusable. There was no coffee machine in the absence of tea/coffee facilties, you can ask the reception staff to make you a drink and it is charged to your room. We had to coffees and two bottles of water that was charged at 36 euros. So is it a 4* hotel, no, 3* at most but still pleasurable enough. The location is slightly out of the way but the public transport is fantastic and quite an experience catching a water bus. I would recommend this hotel, but take into account it is not a 4* hotel as advertised."
