This resort is focused on longevity and wellness which is reflected in the menu at the restaurant. The services they provide are top notch, but you will pay for that high quality. "The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "

"Great hotel with an amazing view of the lake inside the volcano, which I was told was still active...Great buffet, with a strolling band, and who the mostly Filipino clientele were actively singing along with, surrounding town is quaint and when you get down to the town, bustling, exciting, amazingly friendly and helpful people, visited a few special spots, loved it, would seriously consider moving there, incredibly affordable and excellent food, and, of course, 2 7-11s, a staple in asia. .lol.... looked into it a bit deeper, medical and dental there and affordable, visit taal, you won't regret it"
