"A vintage style hotel set in 1920’s era, yet it has all the facilities of a modern hotel! The staff, roof top bar and the surrounding area are just amazing! "
"Very kind helpful staff. Had useful advice on transportation and coordinated a taxi to get me to the airport in the middle of the night. My booking included breakfast which was hosted at another hotel 5 mins away with an excellent selection of breakfast items and a spectacular view of the Bosporus. "
"We really enjoyed our four-night stay at this small, stylish hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome even before we arrived.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location is excellent — just steps from Istiklal Street and the metro, so it's very easy to get around the city.
A great bonus was the hotel’s wine cellar, offering a nice selection of Turkish wines to taste.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would happily return....
"What a nice surprise of a hotel/apartment. I was a little nervous initially about the graffiti on the building, but ended up loving the place and street with all the super cool bars and restaurants that leads right Istiklal street.
Tammam the Hotel Hospitality was awesome."

"My family and I all had rooms here because we were in town for my wedding. Great stay, customer service was perfect - except I will say when we tried to go the rooftop on the left side of the building the front desk man was having a power trip which was very odd as we not only had multiple rooms on the property but also a 30 person reservation at cecconi’s on the same premises so a power trip and attitude was comedic. Hotel guests are allowed there keep that in mind. Everyone else however was wonderful. Serkan at Cecconi’s was phenomenal and the front desk check hotel check-in guy was great too. As I said the front desk at the rooftop not a fan and wouldnt go there again due to the poor skills from a man who works a desk. Maybe should take a workshop class to learn what exclusivity actually is "
"Marmara Taksim hotel is in great location and close enough to the main attractions and can walk down to the summer palace. The staff is very nice and great in helping with whatever is needed. Our room had a great view and very clean. Highly recommend. "
"Highly recommended. The hotel
is in a tree lined street and feels very safe even at night. They gave us a free room upgrade facing the street. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Free breakfast at the rooftop restaurant gives a clear view of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Bosphorus Strait!!'
Excellent location with major sights and tram stations within 5-10min walk. Alot of dining options nearby. Ross Kebab House next door has delicious local food and gives free baklava and tea. Sur Doner Shawarma along the main road has delicious beef doner for $7."
"The reviews were right - This was the best and most convenient place to stay in Istanbul. Taksim is right around the corner and surprisingly it was quiet at night! The metro and bus route is so conveniently located, I got around so easily. The rooms were spacious and even provided amenities to store and warm my food. I can’t wait to be back!"
