"The Air Con in the whole hotel is not working and on a hot day it is very difficult to get a proper nights rest. The south facing rooms are stiflingly hot. I learnt that the Air Con has been out of action for over a year. This issue should be made known at the time of reservation and not on arrival."

"Don't bother with this place, try next door. To be fair, there was an IT glitch that staff had to work around. However, while some staff treated me like a person—notably K, who told me she was from Ukraine—others did not. It seems that the management knows that this place is on borrowed time and wants to collect money for doing as little as possible. One member of staff wasn't even motivated enough to tell me the correct pricing for breakfast."

"The room was immaculate upon our arrival and the breakfast was a typical normal continental breakfast. The view was exceptional and the location for our cruise terminal was superb. All in all - it was a wonderful place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer or arrived earlier to investigate the area."

"After a long day of emptying a property, we were looking forward to getting to our room and winding down for the night. Upon arrival into the room, it was like an oven opening up the door. It was 30-degree heat outside, and not one window had been left open to help ventilate or keep the room cool. We had to open our main door to try and let some air enter the room as it was absolutely unbearable to stay in there. Then it was time for a shower. We were sweaty and grubby, and I just wanted a nice lukewarm shower. Upon looking into the bath, I noticed the plughole was absolutely chocker blocked with thick black hair and then strands of it scattered around the bath and also on the bathroom floor. I let it go that night as I was absolutely shattered and needed to cool down, which comes to my next issue, the shower! There was no lukewarm setting it was either boiling hot or freezing cold! Then the pressure was so slow that it would have been quicker filling up the bath and just having a quick soak! Another issue that we had was when we went to the bar we were completely ignored by a staff member for whatever reason I am not sure but we were next to be served and got ignored whilst another person who had arrived after us was served first. Overall, this will be my first and only stay at this hotel, and I will NOT stay here again after my experience!"
