"Our dog was made welcome. Had to change room, due to a maintenance issue. But nothing was too much for the staff. Got a cup of tea each as too early for check-in (bad weather why we were early). Staff were fantastic."

Lovely place and in my opinion best place to go on the Isle of Wight. Lovely beach within walking distance and if you love the Wildlife, the Zoo is just round the corner. Very convenient for walks and cycling

Beautiful beach and friendly people but many shops and businesses closed and the town is very shabby and unkempt.

Sandown is great for walking. Bembridge, Down, the Culver trail, coastal path to Shanklin are all within easy reach. Always a pleasure to walk here.

Lovely beach. Lots of gift shops. Choice of small supermarkets.

I visited many towns on the island. I would recommend Ryde for shopping, bars and the beach. Sandown is nice and quiet in comparison.
