"The hospitality is fantastic at the property—the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, our room was upgraded, and the spa service was perfect. Where secrets can improve is the cleanliness and the upkeep of the rooms and property. It definitely seems a little dated for its rating, and the sofa and chair in our room was stained in a way that we didn’t want to sit in them. It was nice to have a quiet pool and a party pool but the water in both were so hot it felt like bathwater. We were also disappointed in the food quality and the lack of Costa Rican dishes on any of the menus."

"This is such an amazing resort. Beautiful property and friendly staff. I’ve stayed in both the bungalows and the villas and they are both very nice. The natural sauna and hot springs are delightful. We love sitting on the patio area of the restaurant with a beautiful view. The restaurant staff is always very nice and attentive and the kindness of Diego and Mariana to remember my friend’s birthday and set a special table for our dinner was exceptional. This resort has all the activities on site. We saw lots of wildlife and our horseback riding adventure was amazing. There is also a nice hiking trail along the river on the property. We will definitely be back for a third time and most likely make it an annual trip! We can’t get enough of the daily sauna, hot springs, and mud experience!!"

"Great little boutique hotel. The hotel is small but definitely well taken care of. It opens to an amazing beach view. The pool is small and for my toddler it was perfect. If you’re looking to party or a hotel with more fun activities, this probably isn’t the one for you. If you’re a family or looking for a relaxing place, it’s for sure the place to come to. It’s a little bit secluded so you’ll need a car or uber to leave. I would definitely stay here again if I had another family vacation."
