"Our room had a balcony with a view of the ocean and it appeared that most of the other rooms had the same situation. The hotel is literally 20 steps to the beach and a slight walk to the pier. The pool area was very nice. "

"It was a beautiful property with a fountain and a coy pond. It had a very well kept up court yard with tables and flowers. The staff was courteous. It was close to the freeway and the main streets in Carpenteria. We could visit there again. "

"The grounds of this hotel are so beautiful and the location was perfect for us to attend a wedding in Simi Valley. The room was clean and the breakfast was outstanding. The only minor complaint I have is the sliding door on the bathroom. It didn't give much privacy and also hard to use the bathroom at night without lighting up the whole room. I would prefer a standard door. Other than that, it was very nice, very clean and excellent location. "
