It may not be the newest hotel, but we've been to neighboring giant hotels, and in terms of comfort and luxurious, relaxed living, we know Sofitel is the best! "Beautiful property overlooking the bay with direct access to the ocean boardwalk. Large shopping mall is about a 20min walk and accessible via the boardwalk. Many local restaurants nearby. The rooms are slightly scuffed since they are older, but overall the room is lovely. Clean room, wonderful waterfall shower, comfy beds, robes, slippers, flip flops, hair drier, flat iron, many toiletries, water bottles, tea, coffee, quiet Breakfast buffet is massive and goes until 1pm. We didnt eat lunch our entire trip because we were so full each day. The Casa Corona ground level pool bar has a fire show each night."
