"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. "

"Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit."

"Wir haben noch nie so gut gegessen wie im Silberstreif Restaurant. Ein perfekter Ausflug über Pfingsten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Personal, Location, Wellness/Spa.. alles Top! Danke!!!"

"Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen. Wir waren für zwei Nächte dort. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, vermutlich weil außer dem Besitzer und einer Reinigungskraft keiner im Hotel beschäftigt ist. Ich hoffe, dass sich das bald ändert, damit das Hotel nicht verfällt. Das Frühstück war in gut, wenn auch nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Aber für einen kurzfristigen Aufenthalt in Ordnung."
