"Had a poor and a highly unsatisfactory experience overall at the hotel.
Check in was slow, the front desk was uninformed about even basics such as parking location and prices, and wasted a lot of time checking me in.
Hotel elevators and lobby and rooms are all extremely dated, and smell of cigarettes and seem like they were all built in 1960s.
No electric outlets easily accessible in the rooms, and the bathrooms are not renovated. Phone and desk also looks dingy, small and somewhat smelly. Television was tiny, and had programming a remote from the turn of the century.
Hotel room rates were not very competitive, so definitely expected much better experience overall than what was offered.
Even service was overall quite poor. I requested towel and conditioner in my room, and they said they can’t send any conditioner as it is only available to suites and executive rooms. How low class is Accor or Novotel (or Germany) that conditioner is somehow a “premium amenity”.
Cheap dingy smelly hotel, with poor service… I would look for a better experience at the Marriott down the street."
