"Booked at the last minute when other plans fell through, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Excellent condition, very comfortable, with a nice pool and a great breakfast. Decent location (about 15-20 min walk to Piata Mare)."

"Great location. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is very good. The rooms are tight, beds are old and uncomfortable and the interior is quite loud,due to poor insulation between rooms. The hotel is still under construction ,so it's a bit loud. Rooms lack enough electrical outlets . Had to choose between charging phone, using TV , coffee maker or fridge. Also room prices are on the higher side, but you are in prime location, so I suppose that justifies the room price. Yes, we did see a bear near by and the local gang of dogs chased the bear away. Overall would stay again."

"I had a truly enjoyable experience at Cetatea Medievala. The atmosphere perfectly blends historical charm with comfort, creating a unique and relaxing setting. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the décor reflected the beautiful medieval character of the location. The courtyard was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a coffee, surrounded by the warm brick walls and peaceful ambiance. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making my stay feel welcoming from start to finish. The location is ideal for exploring the area, with plenty of cultural and historical attractions nearby. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking both comfort and an authentic touch of history."
