The location is good, almost in a central location of the island highway. There are all kind of shops nearby and it is right in front of the beach. The front office staff were also nice. But, the property is pretty old and will need some uplift soon. We had an issue with the bedsheets and pillow covers full of hairs. Tried to clean up, but it was all over the sheets. Not sure if it was replaced or properly cleaned. The lady at the front desk quickly gave us a replacement. Have a Chinese restaurant attached to it which is open from 11am - 8pm usually.

Great location right next to the beach. For a motor inn we were pleasantly surprised that the interior looked nicer than the outside. Staff were friendly upon check in and had great recommendations. Only downfalls in our room were electrical issues. Our personal drying wouldn’t turn on in any of the plugs (this could of been an issue with our dryer but it worked fine at home), we had to plug in our lamps (which the only outlet available by the beds was blocked by the headboards screwed into the wall), and we had to unplug the fridge because it was way too noisy. Overall for the price we paid and the location, it’s a good place to sleep at night.

Staff checking me in were friendly and helpful. The tv didn’t work first night when I came in late, nor did the phone charger. I was visiting for a relative in palliative care so getting messages was very important. I asked for those issues to be dealt with when I extended my stay the next morning. When I checked in the afternoon they hadn’t been but the new person at front desk cheerfully came and fixed tv. I used their extension cord to plug in the phone charger. When asked how my stay was on checkout I suggested their electrical needed some upgrades (extension cords for lamps and balls of wire etc) I was met with rude behaviour and excuses. Too bad, not much accommodation in Sechelt….I’ve stayed before and likely have to again but will be checking that everything works. Beds are comfortable and nice to have fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
